Hi all,

I am PR holder living and working in Montreal Quebec, I submitted my spouse and children sponsorship 1st approval end of September 2013, till date I have not received any news from missisauga. Is it possible to take up to that time not even to be able to see it online? No email no mail nothing? Is there a way I can contact them? Is it normal? Am panicking!!!!!!

If someone can help please explain!!! Thanks

No, it's not normal to hear nothing - spousal sponsorship approval is normally processed in 2-4 weeks. Are you sure that they received it? Did you send it with a means of tracking it?

As you are residing in Quebec, once sponsorship approval was given you would have been sent additional forms to fill out for the undertaking.

You should be able to check ECAS using your own reference number - it should be accessible with the same number as when you applied for and became a PR. If you can't, then I would suggest contacting the call centre and ask them if they have any details of your sponsorship application.

I hate it when that happens. I wrote a quite thoughtful post a while back, but go the OP's sex wrong....and it 'was' evident....but I just sort of missed it
