Hello all, new here. A quick question. I (Jason) am a Canadian Citizen living in the U.S
and I have to go back home in a month. I'm going to take my U.S wife (Melanie) back with
me. She's going to claim visitor status for 2 months and change status while residing in
Canada. Unfortunately because of the immigration process for me to come to the U.S I have
been unable to work. I was wondering if my parents could fill in as co-sponsor with myself
as sponsor of my wife. Reason being is that she didn't make money to make the minimum
requirements for financial responsibility. Are my parents able to co-sponsor her?

There are no financial requirements to sponsor a spouse although you will be asked to
supply the information. Jim Humphries, former visa officer
