Hi everybody, a few months back I remember reading something about spousal visitor's
visa which will enable spouses getting visitor visa. Is this rule already implemented
? I do not see anything new posted on this group or on the CIC website. I got married
a few days back in India and am now back in Canada. I am trying to get my wife to
Canada at the earliest and am hunting for options. Can anybody please suggest the
quickest way to bring my wife ? I would really appreciate any input.

There is and never was a "spousal visitor visa" - and there is nothing like that in
new law to be implemented in few weeks either.

The fastest way if your wife cannot obtain regular visitor visa (and there is 99%
chance that she won't get one) is to start sponsorship process as soon as new
application kit is published on CIC website.
