Default Spousal visa question

I'm just filling in the form and I've searched the site and can't find an answer so I hope someone can help.

Question 3 asks 'is there a co-signer on this application?' (co-signer must be the spouse or common law partner of the sponsor)

But when I read the notes that I printed off on the cic website, it says 'only your spouse or common-law partner can co-sign the application'.

NOTE: if you are sponsoring your spouse or common-law partner, you cannot have a co-signer.

So I'm not sure what to do??? Can anyone help??

Michelle .

I had trouble working that one out , but a search on here got me the to understand that a co-signer is your spouse if you are sponsoring someone other than your OH, If he/she is the one you are sponsoring, they or no one else is the co-signer, does that make sense? If I've got it wrong hope someone will put me right

For spousal sponsorship there can be no co-sponsor.
