Default Sponsorship: Spouse's Interview

Hi all!

I am sponsoring my wife from abroad.
She has been invited for an interview. What kind of questions do they
ask at the interview? If we show up together at the embassy, will they
allow me at least to be in the interview room?

Thank you.

They will probably not want you to go into the interview room with your wife but its' OK to let them know that you are there.

First of all - it is her who will be interviewed (or better, interrogated) and you won't be allowed in.

The main reason for interviewing sponsored spouses is to determine if your relationship is a bona fide one or just a relationship for the purpose of immigration. Marriage certificate proves nothing nowadays. She must brace herself for some quite tough questions.
