Hi,

I am canadian born but have lived in the UK for the last 25 years and am now trying to sponsor my british wife.

We have now got to the stage of our sponsorship form where we are filling out the financial evaluation form. Has anyone ever filled out this form? If so, how did you obtain an option c printout if you live in the UK.

We are under the impression this is the same as a P60 so was going to use the information from that but on the form it is very specific regarding which figures you need from the option c print out and it doesn't seem to tally with the P60 we have.

Please help as you can not speak to anyone at immigration.

Since you have not been in Canada for a very long time you won't be able to supply what they expect. But not to panic do your best with present financial situation. Also, there is no minimum financial requirement so long as you are not on welfare.

Thanks for replying, i have my last years P60 and all my UK payslips from up to present day, also i have a letter from the MD at my work stating the payrol scheme and how much i can earn. Shoulkd i send all this info INSTEAD of the finacial agreement they ask for?

I believe you just send your P60 and a letter to explain that you have not lived in Canada for X amount of years and have not paid Canadian taxes etc etc and you should be fine.
