Default Sponsorship

Another question, if it's not too much trouble. The duration of someone's
responsibility for the person they sponsored is determined by the
immigration laws at the time they were accepted, or the most current law?

Thanks in advance,

Default Re: Sponsorship

The undertaking period's length is clearly set in the undertaking agreement
signed by sponsor. Fact that new law provides different terms for such
agreement is irrelevant - agreement is in force as entered into at the time
of signing it.
