Default Sponsoring spouse with Canadian child

Hi,
I am a Canadian citizen, and I am in the process of filling spouse
sponsorship forms to sponsor my wife who is residing outside Canada. My
wife and I have a child who is a Canadian citizen. Do I need to my
child as an accompanying dependent child on the Application to Sponsor
and Undertake?
Thanks,
Albert

The child will have to be counted in your sponsorship assessment form but the child should not be included in any other part of your application except the Supplementary Information form (IMM5406) where the child will also have to appear.

I am also in the same situation and wondering where in the application to include my Canadian children (sponsoring husband). Are they mentioned in the Application to Sponsor and Undertaking Section C Paragraph 3 (although I am not sponsoring them they are my husbands dependent children), and where abouts in the Sponsorship Evaluation do they come - 5A) Current Undertaking therefore they have to included in the Sponsorship Undertaking or 6B) Every other family member. They are also included in Additional Family Information. Should I just include them anywhere that askes about children?
