Question Sponsoring Parents and their Dependent Child

Hi - Great forum!

My Question. I am a Canadian Permanent Resident. I am sponsoring my parents soon. I would like to know, can it include my young brother (age 21) who is completely dependent on my parents in the application? He is turning 22 next September 2006. If anyone has some information, links, etc. Please help me out. Thanks.

I am not an expert but to the best of my knowledge, your brother could qualify as dependent son as long as he is full time student, and does not have wife or in common law relationship, till date of issuing visa (please do not forget this process could take 4 years).

To remain a dependent in parents' application your brother must be unmarried, financially dependent from parents (not working on his own) and full time student continuously attending school since before turning 22 and until visas are issued.
