Greetings,

I would appreciate any advice from anyone that would know more about
this. I am a PR that landed here on May 2004. I would like to get
married to my girlfriend who is on a student visa. What do I have to
do to sponsor her? Would it be faster to get married here and sponsor
her internally OR get married in India and sponsor her from there?

Check out the CIC website at www.cic.gc.ca for full info. If she is a
student here then an inland sponsorship is obviously a good choice. She
must maintain legal status here to qualify.
