Sorry, another question regarding immigrating as a spouse from Japan =
(with no dependent children).=20

On the document checklist (immigrant) under 9 - identity and civil =
status documents, it ask for the applicant to provide birth certificates =
"for you and each of your family members". Does the "each of your family =
members" only apply to those (my wife only) who are immigrating to =
Canada, or does that also include those (her parents, sibling) who are =
not immigrating as well?

To clarify with the experts, am I correct after reading through the =
applications that only photocopied documents that are not in english or =
french must be translated and certified/nortorized. Otherwise all other =
photocopied documents that are in english need not be =
certieid/notorized?

THanks

I don't know the answer to your second question, but as far as birth
certificates, they want those only for your wife as well as her
children and other dependents if you listed them on the application
for residency.

I'm not one of the immigration experts, but I have read the answer to
your question very recently on the CIC site.
