Question Re: Skytra's various questions about Spousal Sponsorship forms

Hi I have two questions about medicals,

I'm doing a medical for my son who is 4 next week. He doesn't have a passport, but I am wondering if CIC will accept his birth Certificate as valid proof or are they rock solid about passports for medicals.

Also, I need to get some passport photo's for him for the medical. Will they accept the high street photo booth passport photos or do I have to go to a specialist and get a Canadian Immigration grade photos?

Thank you

Im not too sure about writing in hand on any areas that arnt for writing though.. i.e writing notes on the application in hand.
I did exactly the same and stuck the additional sheet in between in chronological order. Each sheet was headed with my name, the form number, the question number and the question typed out. I did not staple or paper clip anything together.

photos should be ones that fit the specifications for canadian immigration. Take the specifications sheet along to snappy snaps or any independent photo shop. My local shop in London used to do 8 photos for £5

just checking - if your son has a canadian parent then he will be canadian himself already. In that case he wouldnt need a medical

I have already given so much information in the other questions that I feel like I haven't left anything out... AND I am also in the process of cross referencing extra information in the application form to the evidence section that contains originals/photocopies of (ie photo, bills, etc).

So with all this in mind can I safely assume that my 'DOCUMENTS EVIDENCE' section will be enough to answer that CIC statement OR do I need to write an ESSAY like some others have done?

I'm really confused about what strategy to adopt for this statement.

If someone could iron this out for me I would be very grateful, thanks!!!
I included a short typed note inserted into the sponsor section which said something along the lines of 'please refer to all evidence collated as evidence of our common-law relationship which is provided in the applicants section'. I did not see the point in copying everything just to feature it twice. For the questions which ask things like where did you meet, how did your relationship progress etc I typed out my answers on separate sheets since the space they gave was not sufficient.

I remember seeing somewhere a guide whereby it stated the official manner that additional pages should be carried out (ie name, number etc).

Can anybody direct me to the guide where I think i saw this AND/OR show how additional pages should be correctly maintained in accordance with the application rules.

Thank you
I'm not sure where it is listed in the guide - although I know it is. My forms had my name, question and it's number typed out. That is sufficient.

The document check-list says:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3901e.pdf

Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) - You and each of your family members 18 years of age or older must complete their own copy of this form.

Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) - You and each of your family members 18 years of age or older must complete their own copy of this form.

I've asked this question before but havent got a nailed down answer.

I obviously need to complete this form. It says family members need to complete their own copy of this form does that mean my wife needs to complete this one as well. This reason why I'm asking this is becasue my wife has her own application forms as the sponsor (part 1). So just wondering if my wife definitely needs to complete sections of my application too here (part 2).

thanks again.
Your wife as a Canadian Citizen does not need to fill out IMM5669 - why would she? They are not re-evaluating her need for entry to Canada.

She does however have to appear on IMM5406 - you only need to submit one form though since you are the principal applicant and your child is only 4 correct? If you child was 18+ then they woudl have their own set to complete. So fill that form out from your perspective.

Hi, I'm doing question 6 (first meeting in person) for APP FORM (IMM5490E) Sponsored Spouse Partner Questionnaire.

We met on a dating website but I've just done about 550 words describing, the events leading up to the first meeting, including the emotions we both experienced on the day. Not sure how much detail they want here. I described buying th tickets on line and then described meeting her there at the visitors area and thast basically it. Not really sure how much detail they want. Is 500 words sound about right or is it OTT?
