Default Skilled Worker Visa different jobs

Hi,

One of the requirements of the Skilled Worker Visa is 1 year of continuous employment. Does this employment have to be in the same job title? For example, if I did 6 months as an IT Service Desk Analyst, and then 6 months as a Software Engineer (without any gap in employment) would this still count? Or would I need to have done 1 year as an IT Service Desk Analyst / Software Engineer?

Thanks

You need at least one year full-time in the NOC code you're applying under (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...s.html#skilled), so it depends on if the jobs can come under the same NOC code (I've no idea about IT related occupations!).

In your previous thread you said you'd done 13 months in the Service Desk job though? If so, you'd be eligible.

HTH.
