Default skilled worker + parents

Hi,
I have a friend who's planning to apply for immigration as a skilled worker. The problem is his parents are dependent on him financially and otherwise. The question is can he in some way include them in his application as dependents?

thanks

His parents will have to apply separately under the sponsorship scheme, even if they are living with him.

Sorry, but he can't include parents. He will have to sponsor them after he becomes a Canadian PR and meets minimum income requirements working in Canada. It will be very long process - depending from parents' nationality, country of residence, etc. it will take anywhwre from 4 to 7+ years from the day he starts sponsorship process. Add to it time needed for his own PR process and 12 months of earnings in Canada after landing as PR. If parents are not healthy close to the end of their application process then they may not qualify anyway.
