Serious car accident just prior to meds!
Hi All,
This is not about me (I'm all set, I think) but about my brother, who lives in Mexico. He's just reached the meds stage but had a serious car accident last week which has left him hospitalised. In particular, he has a broken ankle and he's had pins put in his knee. The prognosis, I understand, is for a full recovery.
While he's in hospital cursing his bad luck, I thought I'd try to find out how he might handle his medical exam and how the doctor doing the medical exam is likely to consider his injuries. Might a letter from the doctor treating him to his medical examiner explaining things be a sensible move or is he better off simply delaying the medical exam for a few months until he's better (he really doesn't want to choose the latter option).
Thanks in advance.

Hi
So sorry to hear the news about your brother, perhaps it maybe better if he contacted the medical practice to ask advice. Other than that, I can't help but I would like to wish your brother a speedy recovery and goodluck with the rest of his application.
