I was wondering if anyone can help me out.
I have sponsored my wife to come, but she is now wanting to leave me.
I am concerned for myself that I will be on the hook with this
sponsorship agreement. She has an addiction problem, and I do not
want anything to do with this.
Can someone please help me out with what my obligations are??
Thanks in Advance!

There is no way out of your sponsorship obligations and you are on the hook,
sorry. You must support her financially (even if divorced) for the duration
of the undertaking agreement you signed if she is unable or unwilling to
support herself. You should think twice next time you want to sponsor
anyone.

If she has not received a PR visa, then withdraw the application. If she
has received visa then you are on the hook for 3 years.

It's bad news. Unless she leaves the country, you have to honor your sponsorship agreement and support her as long as she lives in Canada, regardless of whether or not you are together.

Hi Jeff,
This one's not related to your question, but I'm curious to know where you live as my maiden name is Grubb. There's not many of us around.
