Default Senior member please help (IELTS)

I applied for SW immigration on May, 08, 2008(Simplified Application). I sent the document package on February, 20, 2009, upon their request. I got a letter from embassy in London on June, 01, 2009 asking for additional documents (Immigration Summary Form) and the RPRF fee. I got another letter from the embassy 3 weeks ago asking for doing the medical examination I got my CAIPS notes, although it shows that my total assessment points are 66, it shows that I passed the paper screening decision (PSDEC: 1). what does that mean? Did I pass their initial assessment although my scoring points are less than 67? Since they are requesting more documents and RPRF fee and asking for doing the medical requesting, is there a possibility to refuse my application based on scoring point criteria at a later stages? is there any possibility to ask me for an updated IELTS since my language points were 10 ? How long the background and security check usually take according to the new immigration regulations?

Hi and welcome....

there's alot of questions in there and i'm not qualified to answere them but i would 'assume' that all is well, or at least not bad, as the CIC look like they are keen on your application to warrant asking for more info. the med request is a good indicator but not a certainty...i would send them the info that they require, be a bit more patient and be pre-pared for good news....

good luck
