Default Sendng of fee & delivery

Hi,

Just a quickie...........How did you send the funds for the applicaton, i see there is a section online where you can pay or did you go to your uk bank and ask for a Bank draft, how were they able to do this in canadian funds or was it just the sterling equivalent??

How did you send your application. Royal mail special delivery or courier service.

Cheers,

Gav.

you need to ask your bank for an international bank draft in canadian dollars - they will ask you to fill out a form and will order the draft for you - it normally takes a day or two.

I used royal mail Airsure - you can track it all the way and isnt too expensive

I used Royal Mail Airsure too; it's been 9 days now and 'track & trace' is still showing:

'Your item, posted on 06/06/09 with reference XXXXXXXXXXXGB has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in CANADA.'

Is there normally a delay in updating the information or should I start panicking?

OK take that airsure tracking number and put it into the Canada Post website tracking...it should show you how it's progressing in Canada.

Note: If you are a federal skilled worker applicant, no matter where you are applying from, you must pay by certified cheque, bank draft or money order made payable to the “Receiver General for Canada.” Payment must be in Canadian funds only. Do not enclose cash. You must send payment to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. See the application guide for more details.

You cannot pay online if you are applying under the Canadian Experience Class. Find out how to pay when you mail your application.

So much for the online method then !!
