Seeking details on Bridging open work permit.
 

So I have applied for Permanent Residency, and my work visa expires in July. I've been approved through the Express Entry - Canadian Experience Class application. I won't hear back about my PR until a couple months after that, so I'm trying to bridge the gap between the expiry and hearing back about my PR situation.

Basically what I'm confused about is I don't know what exactly I have to apply for, and how to indicate that it's just for bridging those months until I hear back instead of a full on extension of my existing work permit. I don't see anything on the IMM5710e form that allows me to make these indications. I hope that makes sense.

I just don't know how to make it clear that I'm trying to bridge my open work permit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!

So it isn't necessary to indicate my PR application at all? I just need to apply for an extension as per usual, and they'll understand that this is a bridging permit application?

Hi read the link FL gave you carefully. It explains exactly which document you need to include from your PR application which makes you eligible to apply for a BOWP.
