hi...
I will be applying for RRP and I need help in one of the questions.
#When do you intend to resume your permanent residence in Canada? Please give date.
I am a student and my course is a 2 year program. But my student advisor said that some
people usually do not finish their studies in time... they extend for another semester or
a year. What if this happens to me?
Should I put the date of my return exactly as 2 years or will I add another year.
# documents needed if sent by mail:
If I send my application by mail.... do I have to send original forms of my passport,
proof of landing and transcript of records? They did not indicate whether they needed an
original form or photocopy is just enough.
thanks!

Hi:
If your course is a two year program, then you should indicate that your intend to resume
residency in Canada after two years. You should provide a letter from the school
indicating that the course is a 2 year program.
You should provide photocopies of the documents. If CIC requires originals they will ask.

Assuming that you have established residence in Canada, apply for 3 years. CIC may only
issue for 2 years, which is the length of course. Send only photocopies of your documents.
