Default returned application

If it has been 8 months since I submitted all forms for my spousal application, has everything already been checked for accuracy? At this point, would they send something back that may have an error on my part? I know they could ask for more information, but are the initial papers error-free at this point?

One have one word for you chief......"RELAX"
If there was anything wrong, they would have send everything back to you long ago. So, just take it easy and have a drink or two.

Oh it is more than 2 drinks a day!! I hate being separated and my life being in limbo!! I really hope I get this all before Christmas. I can't imagine how I will react when it does show up in the mail box!! I wonder if we could file a suit for becoming alcholics over this process?

Hi Willrhodes,

I feel the same way, we have both been waiting for endless months for any news from Buffalo but alas, the endless silence continues. I don't think either of us should worry about an incomplete application at this stage. From what I have read, if an application is incomplete they send it back pretty much straight away. The only nightmare scenario I think about is a passport request letter missing in the mail.

Lets hope we hear something before Christmas, I am however prepared to continue living in limbo into 2005. More than a bottle of champagne will be drunk when this process is over.
