return ticket
 
just about to book return tickets to edmonton as got a work permit BUT does it matter what date the return portion is ? as we have no intention of returning as going via PNP then PR but i understand that immigration want a return ? or am i being stupid ?

we have only booked one way ticket for hubby - hope i havent made a mistake

One way should be ok. But there is always the chance of a clueless check-in agent so get a confirmation in writing from the airline in advance. This applies especially if travelling on a charter airline.

A return may not be much more expensive than a one way.
