Default Resignation

Hello guys

Thanks to all of you who replied to my last message.
I have another question. If I resign from my current job in the next week or so, would I have to inform the CHC in London where my PR application is being done?

What would happen if I didn't tell them?

Any help greatly appreciated

Sukhy

I would not bother if you are past the selection stage. It could only slow things down.

Thanks for your advise Jim. I haven't got a job lined up. I just want to resign and travel for about 2 months, by which time I am hoping I should hear back from CHC London. My wife has sponsored me, and the CHC are currently looking at my PR application.

Hello Web girl - How are you applying? is a spousal sponsorship? If so, whats your time line been so far?

Job is immaterial, as you are a spousal sponsorship. It would be a good idea if posters mentioned the category that they were applying in, gives you a better shot at getting the correct answer.
