Hey,

I got my Quebec CSQ under QSWP last week. I don't have Celpip/Ielts/French I have booked for my celpip exam at end of this month. I was wondering about minimum required bands with CSQ.

If anyone can also guide me how much time usually it takes nowadays for PR.CSQ process is pretty streamline now I got mine in less than a month.

Only IELTS is accepted for QSWP English, so you’ll need to cancel your CELPIP & rebook with IELTS. https://www.immigration-quebec.gouv....knowledge.html

There’s no minimum language requirement AFAIK, just more points given the higher you score.

And processing time is currently quoted at 17 months for the Federal PR app. Have you actually had a CSQ though, or have you only submitted an EOI? I’m a bit confused as to what stage you’re at?

Thanks for your response I got my CSQ under QSWP Yes you are right Quebec Govt do not accept Celpip only Ielts but I need to apply for Federal PR so for that CELPIP/IELTS both are acceptable I was just wondering about minimum acceptable band.

Thats why I’m confused though, do you not already have language certs from your Quebec app? Or did you not claim any language points?

What skill level is your job?

Yes I have applied for Quebec application without any language and my family is living here so got additional points for family. Now I got the CSQ need to apply for PR under Federal PR program.
I am a software engineer and my code comes under B category 2173 I have more than one year of canadian work experience and currently residing in Quebec.

Oh Really ! If you see at point 12 they asked to submit I don't know the minimum acceptable band.

It says those in Skill Levels C & D.
