Default Request for additional info - inland spouse

I received a letter from CIC today requesting additional information about
my work history for my inland spouse application.

With my original application, I included a complete resume starting from
1989 until the present. I also included a note saying that I have not
worked in Canada due to employment restrictions on my temporary resident
visa. Of course, I completed the PR application section for work history,
and I continued it on a page stapled to that application.

I think their question arose because I had a self employment period that
overlapped my public sector jobs at the start and finish of my business.
They may have wanted further clarification on the dates. I just put a
complete narrative of my work experience in overnight post.

I thought someone here might have a similar situation, and might want to
include a narrative explaining why certain dates overlap. This might also
apply to people who had more than one job at a time.

This newsgroup has been very informative....just thought I might be able to
save someone else some time on their PR application.

Renee

Renee,

I tried to email you a question, but none of the variations of your spam
guarded email address seem to work. Is there another way to get through to
you?

Just up here. I learned very quickly when I first registered for this group
through Google that the spam comes from everywhere, even when your address
has a spam-guarded variation listed. Now that I'm using Outlook to read
this newsgroup, I've got it configured this way so my inbox is a lot less
full of junk.

Is it something I can help you with up here? No offense, but I changed my
e-mail address once already and I don't want to have to do that again so I
don't want to post my e-mail. I'm more than happy to try to answer a
question though. I'm not an expert, but I *am* going through the inland
process.

Cheers,

Renee
