Re: Renew LMIA during AINP
This is more of a CIC topic not CBSA who I work for. Basically once you receive an LMIA you are given an employer specific work permit. If you wish to change employers then a new LMIA is required. Those who get issued a PNP support letter can be issued an employer specific or open work permit but that will depend on the type of PNP application.
If AINP hasn't been applied for then theres not a lot that can be done.

Re: Renew LMIA during AINP
On page 9 or 10 of an LMIA application form, the employer has to tick a box which says:
"I agree that I will not recover any costs, directly or indirectly, associated with seeking an LMIA from any TFW(s). "
Service Canada Forms - Form Profile: High-Wage and Low-Wage Positions - Labour Market Impact Assessment Application

PS: I crossed with FL but think our posts are complementary.

Hi what you are asking is quite complex which is why I'm suggesting you have an initial consultation with an authorised representative (immigration consultant). It may make the difference between staying in work or having to leave in just a few months. At least you will know your options. On the forum people only have a partial knowledge of the whole story/history so it can be difficult to make accurate recommendations. I know you got your file number in January. When did you actually apply?
