Relinquishing PR Status
Hi all, has anyone on here returned to UK and relinquished their PR?
We have now been out of Canada for the maximum amount of days, so effectively our PR cards are of no use, even though they are technically still in date. If we were to visit Canada now I suspect we could have issues, so it's best for us to knock them on the head so that we can go back to being 'visitors'. Just wondering if there is anyone who has done the same and how long it takes to get it all sorted. Thanks |

Carrying an in date card you would be very unlikely to be challenged by CBSA at the border and even if you were and they slatted your for a posible RO violation you wouldn't have lost anything. |
