Default Registered Post?

Well... after all the research and gathering of documents, the time is just about here to post my application.

And just to say thanks to the regulars here for all the useful info!

Perhaps this is a silly question, but should I send the application by registered post? Isn't that the safest thing to do?
It doesn't mention anything about it on the CIC info - whether it's allowed or advised etc.

Might've better to send it by courrier so it's fully tracked and you know it gets there.

Thanks for the input. By courier, do you mean DHL or FedEx?

Canada Post have a courier-type service - the parcel or document is registered/tracked and needs to be signed for on delivery. Maybe that's safe enough?

By courier, it is meant, by courier, any courier service, including express post, which is a courier service.

Just make sure that it's tracked the whole way there, and signed for on delivery - that way you actually have some proof that it made it to the door and that someone received it.

Yes, I agree with this. Fully trackable and signed for on delivery are essentials.
