If the PR application gets rejected once can we refile again? What are the chances of
success if we apply second time. And also can we put the same intended occupation
again when we refile? Will the consulate do assessment for alternate intended
occupation? Please advice.

Hi:

You are permitted to reapply. However, do not reapply unless the grounds for refusal
in the first instance have been rectified, or there has been a substantial change in
your circumstances.

The refusal letter should indicate the problems with your application and unless you
can overcome the problem or you just made a mistake , such as wrong occupation then
you should save your money. Remember the visa officer will be able to look at the ld
application and see what is different. It is harder to unscrambel and egg than to
scramble it.
