Default Recommended postal service from UK to CIO, NS?

Hi,

Which postal service have people used for sending their applications from UK to CIO Sydney? Also I understand there are 2 addresses one for normal post (assume this means anything via Royal Mail) and another for couriers.

We're looking at this service, Airsure from Royal Mail?
http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/j...mediaId=400034

If we used this we're assuming this goes to the PO BOX 8500 address not the 196 George Street (courier) address?

Any advice would be helpful,
Thanks.
Wayne.

Personally, I wouldn't use anything other than a well known courier service for something like that. We used Fedex mainly because I wanted to track it every step of the way, and didn't want to add weeks on for it to get there via Canada Post!

We sent our application to Mississauga via Royal Mail Recorded delivery. We were able to track the package on the Royal Mail website until it left the U.K. then we were able to track it with the same tracking number on the Canada Post website.

for what it's worth, we used Royal Mail 'Airsure' from the UK to Sydney twice with no problems and it's fully track-able end to end

...and also, FedEX from Halifax (NS) to London - almost next day delivery, excellent service.

Good luck!

We used Airsure and it never arrived. Definitely use a courier. We used DHL via Staples. Worked perfectly and easy to track too. Airsure has always felt like a gamble!

Used DHL, cost us a fair bit but could be tracked all the way.
