Question Recce trip - Travel Insurance required?

Hi all,

just wondered if anyone could answer the above question? We're heading out to NS in September for a recce and to activate our visas... do we still need to buy travel insurance (as we'll be 'Canadian')?

Many thanks

Martin & Belinda.

I would think so, being a PR won't help if your flights get cancelled or you loose your bags, and then there's the question of healthcare in some provinces there is a waiting period before you qualify.

As Elaine mentioned may be best for cancelled flights etc, however for NS you are entitled to healthcare from day of landing as a PR
