Really Need Advice--

I am at the point of sending our application to Buffalo--applying in the category of federal skilled worker.

Does anyone know the fastest way to get the application logged in, or registered, or what ever the correct term is for being given an application starting date? My looming birthday (Dec. 23) will cause us a loss of 2 points if we can't get it registered, as I am the primary applicant. We would still have barely enough, but....

We could take it there (using frequent flyer miles) if that would help. Of course, we would rather use Fed-ex, or registered mail or something if that would get it there and logged in.

Also, what is the easiest, correct way for the immigration staff to handle our fee?

The US dollar is so unstable right now that I am afraid a local (Colorado) cashier's check would be wrong by the time it got there. there is a US dollar fee amount stated as of Oct.2003 on the Buffallo Immigration site, but.....things have changed for the

You are wasting time for the third day already. If you would have used a
courier (FedEx, DHL, etc.) on the same day you posted your question here the
first time your application would have already been received in Buffalo.

As far as fees go - get draft in Canadian dollars made payable to "Receiver
General for Canada" and drawn on Canadian bank.

Thank you for your response, although since no one responded before today, I don't see how I was wasting time. If I had sent the package and it had been refused, then I would have been wasting time.
