Re apply Canadian PR

Hello,

I wonder someone can answer the following question:

I have apllied and got a Canadian PR about five years ago, and I and my family did
land in Canada while I was in F1 visa from US.

Because it took me about 4 years to finish my PhD in US, I did not go back to Canada
ever since I landed there 4 years before.

Here is my question: If I reapply Canadian PR now, excluding any other factors, will
my past history have any negative effect on my application?

Thanks.

Wen

The previous application will not help or hinder another one now. Jim Humphries
