Quickie on Police Checks / Form

Quickie on Police Checks / Form
Hi there,
Ive just picked up a couple of police check forms from the local South Wales constabulary. Sections 2 asks what details you require and includes:
A) Prosecution / Conviction History and Cautions
B) Disqualified Drivers
C) Wanted / Missing
D) Fingerprints
E) Vehicle Owners / Keepers
F) Stolen/ Suspect Vehicles
For CIC purposes, presumably i only need to request section A???
Secondly, I was charged with an offence back in 1997, but it never went to a hearing as the charges were dropped by the CPS. Is this likely to show on my record? Should i declare it anyway??
