Quick job title question
Wotcha wonderful peeps
The Toronto hunt is taking it's sweet merry time, as per blooming usual... So I've got a diddy question for you about job titles...
I'm about to finish one interim role as Head of Communications & Engagement, and am staying on with the same organisation but focusing on internal communications.
I can't hold onto the HoCE title (the permanent post holder is in place) and probably can't have Head Of Internal Communications. However, I do have the opportunity to suggest what I'd like my new title to be!
As 'Chief of Fun' is neither terribly descriptive, accurate or on the NOC, I'm thinking about 'Internal Communications Specialist'. Does this sound suitably senior in the Canadian way of describing job titles - I've found a few roles in the past with what sound like senior titles (to the UK way of describing things) but where the roles are actually quite junior.
I'm moving sideways and will be doing lots of strategy and senior-ish things, but don't want to accidentally put something on my CV that an algorithm will read as 'First Jobber'.
I've scoured the NOC for anything to do with internal communications and haven't really found anything close enough to give me a steer - so I thought that I'd ask you lovely fountains of knowledge
Ta muchly

Re: Quick job title question
I wouldn't worry too much about titles its the job description and requirements that are applicable for NOC purposes. On the NOC website you can search by putting in communications managers/supervisors or similar wording.
