Default Question on sponsoring someone from China (to Canada)

I am a Canadian resident try to sponsor my wife in China. Have following
questions:

-How long take to sponsor?
-I have the wedding receipts such as restaurant bill, hotel bill..They in
Chinese. Do I need
to have those bills translated and submit with my application forms? or
no need to send?
-For Marriage certificate..some said have to make a photocopy of it..then
translated and
staple with photocopy before put translator stamp on it? Since the person
translate for
me just translate the marriage certificate booklet..no staple the
photocopy of
marriage certificate and put stamp on it..Is this OK?

Thanks!

You should carefully examine the information on the CICs website at
www.cic.gc.ca as all of your questions are answered there. The certified
translation should have the original or a certified true copy attached to
it.

In the past the visa office in Beijing has been able to process
spousal cases in 6-8 months however this time frame has expanded and
you will not likely see her for at least 12 months however the impact
of the new sponsor package for spouses whereby she takes her medical
and sends the information to the area processing centre in Mississauga
may speed up the process, that is certainly the intent.

Part of the process is to provide evidence regarding the relationship,
time spent together the marriage ceremony and reception. Pictures are
usually enough however if you want the immigration authorities to
consider anything that is not in English or French it must be
translated.

The public translation office in China will translate the original and
you proivde the original translation and a copy of the original
marriage certificate, she will retain the original to take to the
interview if one is required.
