Default Question about Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire - IMM 5490 - Q20/21

Hey,

just checking the forms before I send off. Am applying common-law outland via london.

only thing that flagged that i didnt answer.

Q20 says, 'are you in a common law relationship' Which is defined as 'you are in a common-law relationship if you and your sponsor have lived together in a conjugal relationship for a period of at least one year'.

To which i answered Yes. Because we have.

Q21 says 'Are you in conjugal partner relationship' To which my answer should be No because we have stayed together and not been apart for a yr and a half. However Q20 defines a common-law relationship as a conjugal relationship. is it just stupid wording and me overthinking it?

Should I just put No? or just leave both blank and put NA in the box?

hope this makes sense.

Thanks!

That conjugal relationship thing is confusing. It refers to people who cannot live together perhaps for legal reason in the case of homosexual relations in countries that ban that. You put yes for common-law and no for conjugal.
