Default Question about police record

When I was 18 I did something very silly - while my parents were on holiday I drove my mother's car and was caught, which has resulted in the following on my record, dated 9/9/2004:

Taking a Vehicle Without Consent
Unaccompanied Learner Driver
No Learner Plates Displayed
Uninsured Driver

The charges were handed out under "Restorative caution".

The police record states "No Live Trace", meaning that the UK police no longer deem the charges relevant, however I know I will have to disclose these on our invitation to apply.

My question is - how do you think this will affect our application? Given the age of the charges (nearly 13 years ago), the fact that it resulted in only a caution and never went to court, and was then left to be sorted out between myself and my mother - and that I've never put a foot wrong since. I know that the immigration authority won't exactly look kindly on it but I'm hoping that they wouldn't look particularly negatively on it either.

We don't have an ITA yet, I'm just wondering how badly this will affect us. I could sit here and tell you about my intentions were good (I had a friend who was in trouble and needed to get home) but that would be pretty irrelevant...

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Just declare the offence on any form or if ever asked verbally by a CBSA officer.
