Default Question about Application Form IMM0008 (General appliction form for Canada)

Hi,

this might sound like stupid question...On page 3 it asks me to indicate the total number of years of formal education that I have had. where do I start...Is this from primary school, kindergarten or high school (secondary school)?

Thanks

Hi Skytra7

I think it means from when you started your education, which in the UK would be age 5. So if you left at 16, this would be 11 years, but if you then took a 3 year degree (for example) this would then be 14 years, so you would put this.

I'm no expert, just starting out looking through the possibilities of how to get there myself, but this is how I understand it, so if anyone else has any information which is better than mine (probably, lol!) then please feel free to chip in.

Happy New Year and good luck!

xx
