Hi all
Unfortunately due to some difficult changes to our personal circumstances we've decided that A- perhaps now isnt the best time to consider a move to Canada and B- we may now find it difficult to pass certain aspects of the London checks in any case.
Anyway, the original application was sent very early April and the fees were taken from us in the middle of May. We havent heard anything from the London visa office and the cic/London websites arent 100% clear what to do when cancelling.
The cic website states to contact the London visa office and if they havent begun processing we should get a refund. Is this correct? Secondly, when looking at the London website there is no specific option to deal with this is and it looks as though I will have to follow the link on the London website back to the cic website to fill in a web form. Again, is this correct? Or is there another email contact - as email is the preferred comunication method.
Hopefully someone can help. Nothing is certain at this point but it isnt looking too good for us. Fingers crossed thins will improve but in the meantime thanks to everyone who has helped over the past few months. Very much appreciated.
