Quebec immigration from USA
Hello.
I'm currently living and working in US. I submited my application to
NY - Quebec consulate. I have some questions (look below please).
1. I'd like to know how long the process is taking nowadays.
2. If I'm called for an interview, how long time before they schedule
it?
3. My french is not good yet (very basic). Do you know if it is a must
to pass on the interview? I'm studing but I'm not sure if will be good
enough.
4. They asked for the CSQ and IMM008 forms filled. On the past I saw
the consulate asking for the CSQ and if approved they send the IMM008
to be sent to Buffalo. Has it changed?
Any answer is welcome.

Read the forum. Better to address this question to the fortune teller.

When I applied for the CSQ I indicated my french language level as
zero and still got it without interview. So I would say no to the
"is a must".

This is correct. At least 2 years ago it was so. The up-to-date information
can be located on
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/anglais/
and they do have step-by-step guides. Very easy to follow.
Good luck!
