Default Qualifying for PR while living in the U.K.

Hello everyone,

Now I know there has been lots of talk on here about being able to qualify for the PR requirements when you live outside of Canada with a Canadian Spouse. We have yet to actually apply for Spousal Sponsorship, but this would be our case until my husband (british) finds a job and we save as much as we can, etc.

My questions is has anyone actually done this (if so how was the experience, any niggles etc.)?

It is possible that we will (please please please) be able to move well before the 3rd year of his PR card, but just like to see other peoples views. The main reason to apply soonish is so that he can start to look for jobs now.
