Default "Proof of settlement funds"

Dear All,

I was asked to update docs, including "Proof of settlement funds", I checked the national news papers and submitted the required amount.
Then I e-mailed the canadian embassy they asked me to goto http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic which is much higher than what I submitted....

What to do?

With wife and two kids, you must be very very sure that you are going to do that, before going there with the minimum that embassy requires. Those 20000 per family of four are probably ok for 6 months, but after reading the forum, I think that folks are lucky to get a good job within that timeframe.
