Should I have my bank account in canadian dollars or it is not necessary?

10.000 CAD$ + 2000 CAD$ my spouse and me!

May I show my bank account in EURO?

Re: Proof of funds

EURO is hard currency in Canada and around the world. You will be just fine
with Euro (to get your PR status), but then you will have to exchange the
Euro in C$, Canadian dollar is the only currency accepted in stores, gas
stations, paying the rent, etc.
1 Euro= around C$1.6
Best of luck in your new country.
