I have heard that according to the new regulations I must submit my application only
to Damascus office (I am Iranian). Since the damascus waiting time is currently too
long (3 years), I had planned to file my application in Ukrain. I just need an expert
opinion on this. Is it OK to send the application to Ukrain before the new
regulations are implemented. Or is it better to send to Syria? which one do you

Thank you Ramin

You can do whatever you want, but judging from what happened with processing time in
Ankara after Iranians started submitting their applications there I would say - don't
take any more risk of "shopping" for faster visa post. Most of the backlog in
Damascus and other visa posts will be eliminated soon anyway if new regulations and
transition rules will stay as they were introduced.
