sir,
i am a uk citizen and am considering a move to canada on completion of my ecology
degree, and i have a question regarding 'adaptability'.
my father was in the royal navy, and was posted to halifax, ns 1979-1981. i
accompanied my father and was 13-15 years old at the time. will these two years earn
me any points?
thank you for your time,
nick.

did youg o to school while you were there, was it a school on like the Navy base or
was it a regular Canadian school? i am sure you must get something for having spent
two years of your growing up in Canada because surely that would help you adapt. also
it might help you in the immigration officers discretion if he sees you have lived in
Canada before and obviously enjoyed living there if you want to move back.

No, it will not give you any extra points. If you would be attending school in Canada
at post secondary level for at least 2 years then you could get 5 bonus points, but
not for the circumstances you described.
