I worked for a company 3 years ago for 13 months long, then I changed job. I have
prove of the working period, but it's 3 years old. And yet, the company has been
closed and not possible for anyone to contact the boss (I don't even know where the
boss is now).

Is this record still standing good as my 1 year working experience?

Jon

Hi:

Your employment reference should suffice as long as it is on official letterhead, it
indicates the period that you had worked, and the duties that you have performed. You
may want to write a letter to CIC indicating that the company no longer exists.

Yours truly, Ingrid Y. Chen, B.A., LL.B.
