Sir

I am from india and applied for immigration under computer programmer category and
having 3 year diploma in computer science and had 3 years exp at the time of applying
.Applied on march 2000.

Please tell me up to what extent my case will be affected if the new bill is
retroactive.

We will only know the effect on applications after we know what the pass =
mark is. =20

All other things being equal, I would suspect the new rules to favour = you since
your education currenly may not be acceptable in relation to = your occupation.

However, as we had found with the switch from CCDO to NOC, officers = often look to
see if the higher standard is met. We can only guess how = some of these officers
will behave with whatever "training" they are = given.
