Default PR Photos - facial measurement changed

As per my other post, got my PPR today. I proudly got out the extra photos that I got done at the same time as the medical only to find that the specification changed last year (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resourc...2009/ob141.asp) and that the ones I had taken must have met the old spec - our faces are 35mm.

The link above says there is a transition period where the old spec photos are acceptable. So do we send them off as is and try and get away with it, or get new ones done?

Get new ones, as there is a very good chance they will be rejected when Sydney processes your PR card, which means you have to attend a CIC in Canada, get photos taken and then pick up the card months later when it is ready.

Our 3 year old daughters picture were accepted when submitted but have now been rejected for her PR card so we have to make a special visit to Vancouver to get new pictures taken so that they can issue her PR card. I would get some new ones done and hopefully avoid the pain later.
