Default PR EE - Original documents needed ?

Hi,

I have submitted my application for Permanent Residency a few days ago (under FSWP on Express Entry).
I was wondering whether they could ask for the original documents ? I've completed the application here in Canada, and family back home scanned and emailed me the required documents. The original documents are still there. Should I have them mailed here just in case ?

Thanks
JB

Did the application ask for originals or just copies. The guide specifies if originals, certified copies or just copies are required.

Hi Former Lancastrian,

The application under Express Entry only required scans of original documents. I'll check if there's another "guide" I haven't been through, but I don't think so.
Thanks

I have read on another forum that in some cases, they have asked people to re-upload documents, but I think that is rare. I think you could probably wait i.e. if CIC want an original, then express courier it over. Until then, I think it is rare for them to ask at this stage (unless you are from a high suspicion country I presume). Good luck with your application!
